Jayden and Crusader updates every day this week!
For those interested Third would have gone on to explain “Nothing ever happens in Slough.”
This page was a lot of work mostly because of the second panel. That’s almost an entire page right there in one panel. It’s an effect I really like, especially how the text slowly changes from glowing word of God back into his character speech bubbles.
It was also really fun to draw Third again. He’s just pleasant to draw, he’s got a unique way of standing and behaving other characters don’t.
I am also very pleased with how Computer on her asteroid came out. You can decide for yourselves whether Crusader, in super-artist form, knew about Computer’s overheating and whether he sent her there to die or really did mean to banish her.
And yes she’s quoting Hamlet, because she’s not just a one dimensional villain. Honest.
Well she changed thee and thy to me and my so is it really a quote? Who knows. Not I.

At first I thought banishment as a punishment for Computer wasn’t nearly as harsh as she deserves. Of course, that was before I remembered that she was overheating. Dying on some lone asteroid light years away from anyone while quoting Shakespeare is a pretty suck-y, but classy way to go.
Seems my fear of Crusader letting power go to his head have been laid to rest. And I do like how Third eye-rolls the group hug despite being part of it. There are just some things resurrection can’t change and apparently Third’s attitude is one of them.
Definitely looking forward to the Halloween special!
