Look folks, J&C’s second ever outside comic! (well… not really, but the first one that wasn’t just vectored photographs)
The image of Third holding a watering can is one of my favourites I’ve ever drawn. I had a lot of fun doing this one, along with experimenting with different shading techniques to show the brightness of sunshine, all of which I threw out the window save for a few shadows.
Crysanthemum is an inherently funny word, and quite an ugly plant if it comes to it. Certainly there are flowers I prefer and I think Third’s first choice for growing plants would probably be a rose, probably one plant of white roses and another of black (“There are no greys!”) but crysanthemum is funnier than roses. Or so I think in any case.
Poor sad little Third.
Also: Kat’s car is quite big. She is quite small. I find this funny.

The fact that your usual eye style is quite simple really makes Third’s Bambi Eyes in panel 5 extra effective
