You guys don’t realise but this entire storyline involving Third has been written around the one joke in the first panel.
I’m told psychiatrists don’t have the same medical training as other doctors. If this is not the case, please tell me in a comment or an email and I will not change the page, but I will at least offer you a full apology.
I like this page. I like this page a lot. It has Dr. Cartwright. That alone is enough to make it awesome for me. Furthermore, Third is great in this comic, I think. And blood, so much blood. I don’t think blood has been in J&C since this time last year.
I could be wrong of course, I have the memory of a fruit-bat.
I presume their memory capabilities are somewhat lacking, I have no idea one way or the other. But they do look scatter brained.
I am a terrible cheat when it comes to backgrounds, but hopefully you can’t tell with this one. And look, action! He fell over! I’m a little bored of talking heads right now. They’re just dull to draw and dull to read. I like always having 6 panels, but perhaps I think I should try and mix up the action somewhat. I dunno, I have a lot of half-formed ideas for J&C’s future, but none…. are forthcoming. And no ideas for any jokes, real jokes, are in my head right now.
I’ve said it before, and I will probably say it again, I am not sure where J&C goes from here. interestingly those times tend to be just at the end of a run of buffer comics when I HAD to get a comic done on time or lose the update schedule. I guess I work better under pressure.
I need an editor.

Not really surprised that he dumped her, but I didn’t think he’d take it that far. Not sure if stabbing is really Lorraine’s style though. I was thinking she’d either taser him, or possible go for a solid kick to the family jewels.
I’d like to see Third live through this so we can see if a near death experience will give him some development. That and I’d love to see him handle deal with Lorraine after this incident.

@Kirrus I need an editor to shout at me and tell me when I’m not being funny and to get out my comics on time. Like a newspaper syndication editor
So far no-one has told me whether they are wearing pants….

I like Lorraine, I think she should come back somehow completely unrelated – like make friends with Hannah or something without knowing she knows Third etc. x) Could be amusing

Lorraine should come back, Third shouldn’t die, and I’m wearing pants in both the American and British sense at the moment.
I wonder why Lorraine was carrying a knife. Was she expecting stabbing because she was in a relationship with Third, or is she just cool like that?

@Kirrus actuallyyyyy I know loads of people in Manchester who say pants instead of trousers and it’s really confusing xD hence why I wasn’t sure because Crusader lives north of me somewhere so he could say anything
(although pretty much all of the country is north of me LOL)

@Hanishi I live in Oxfordshire, the home of gentility and refinement. Am I ever really likely to say pants meaning trousers when trousers is a much nicer word?
If I ever live in Manchester it will be my goal to re-educated the Mancunians to the correct meaning of the word.
