A short update this week.

I like to experiment, as you may know, and this is my experimentation with a 2 panel update instead of a 4 or 6 panel update. I think it worked.

The main reason this page is here is because page 107 needs a bit of set up that Jayden is upset about being called islamiphobic, but the ideas I had which involved Jayden directly either wanted 8 panels (which is murder!) or were simply not funny. So I completely changed the idea.

I am also experimenting with Hannah, and mixing up the normal pairings in general. Hannah and Third are a comedic pairing that I haven’t tried before, and I think can be used to make some funny jokes. And we’ll see if I continue to experiment with unusual comedic pairings, Kat talking to Smic perhaps, or Jayden and Kat, Crusader and Hannah, I dunno, we’ll see.

I also counted the number of sentances that Hannah has had since introduction, and it’s 29. At an average of 6 words a sentance, that’s 174 words. That isn’t a lot to flesh out a character, so expect to see more Hannah in future.

That and I love drawing Hannah, she’s just fun. especially her hair, just, crazy amounts of hair.

Haha I love this strip :) There’s just one thing that bugs me – are you ever going to give your characters eyeballs? xD Like where it should be white, it’s skin coloured. xD Unless they all have some strange eye-disease :P

Haha but yeah this is great :D x

I didn’t know Hannah gave Jayden a nickname of some sort. Or at least this is the first I’ve seen of it. Overall, the two panel format works well. It has the same charm of the normal updates but in a quicker and more compact form. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of these in the future.

The art’s well drawn today, and I can’t really think of anything to say about the dialogue, as it’s just setting the scene for a later comic, as you said yourself. I like Third’s sadism though, a very appealing trait.
